No heat during a cold snap
Pipes freeze in unconditioned spaces below 32°F. A no-heat call in January gets the same priority as a no-cool call in July.
Active water leak or burst pipe
Shut your main off (typically front of house, near the hose bib). Then call. Every minute counts - water damage compounds fast.
